I currently work as an independent consultant psychiatrist for a digital healthcare platform where I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments across a range of complex presentations. In my role I am asked to provide diagnostic clarification, structured risk assessment, pharmacological treatment interventions and conduct follow up reviews that balance clinical and holistic person-centre care. I enjoy my current area of work particularly working within multidisciplinary teams where I value the opinions and input of others. When needed, I regularly provide consultation guidance to therapy colleagues managing complex or evolving presentations. I have previously worked for the NHS as an Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist, and for the Ministry of Defence as a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, as well as a forensic medical practitioner within Police Constables. I have also worked for private organisations such as inpatient eating disorder unit, and I continue to work for a private medical cannabis clinic and a private neurodevelopmental service. Working across a range of psychiatric services and patient groups and settings has provided me with substantial clinical expertise that I believe makes me a strong candidate for this unique role. I am drawn to working with Mantra Care due to my interest in digital innovation and increasing access to high quality mental health care.
