I am a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist with comprehensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. I have completed my MD in Psychiatry and have extensive clinical experience gained through three years of junior residency and current consultant-level practice in a government general hospital setting. My clinical expertise includes the management of severe mental illnesses, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and child and adolescent psychiatric conditions. I am skilled in conducting detailed psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and formulating bio-psycho-social management plans tailored to individual patient needs. I have hands-on experience in liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and the management of medically ill patients with comorbid psychiatric conditions. I am also trained in de-addiction services, relapse prevention strategies, and various psychotherapeutic interventions. My approach to patient care is holistic, evidence-based, and empathetic, with a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, family involvement, and long-term functional recovery.
