I am a New York based double board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience treating adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. My practice is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and a deep commitment to helping you feel better and function at your best.I completed my medical degree at the University of Mumbai in 2002 and began my career in the NHS system in the United Kingdom. I went on to complete my psychiatry residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn and a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including the Cleveland Clinic, HCA Healthcare, and NYU Langone. I currently serve as Unit Chief at a New York-Presbyterian–affiliated hospital in Manhattan and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. I take a patient-centered, holistic approach to care. This means I listen closely to your concerns, consider the full picture of your health and life, and work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
