Safdar Hashmi

I am a medical doctor who recently completed MD Psychiatry. I have three years of postgraduate clinical experience in assessing and managing a wide range of psychiatric disorders across inpatient, outpatient, emergency and consultation-liaison settings. My clinical competencies include comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnostic formulation, psychopharmacological management, medication monitoring, suicide risk assessment and management of psychiatric emergencies. I have experience managing schizophrenia spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, substance use disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and personality disorders.My previous experience as a General Practitioner has further strengthened my understanding of the relationship between physical and mental health.
