Dr Emmanuel Oyebanre

I am a Consultant in Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine at the Landesklinikum Hospital Mauer, in Lower Austria, Austria. I have been working here in Austria as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the past 2 years. I however have an overall 9 years Postgraduate experience in Psychiatry, having finished my Residency Programme in Psychiatry in the year 2015. I hold a provisional license with the Austrian Medical Council to practice both Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. I also hold other Medical Licenses of other Countries I have worked in the past as a Specialist Psychiatrst including the Ukrainian Medical Council License as well as the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria License, which is the Medical Licensing body in my home country. I have my MD Degree from the Lugansk Medical University in Ukraine and a subsequent 3 year specialist Degree in Psychiatry at the National Medical Academy for Postgraduate Education in Kyiv, Ukraine 9 years ago. I also hold an MBA degree in healthcare Management and Leadership from the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. I have attended several professional courses abroad including a World Health Organization (WHO) training programme held in Tallinn, Estonia some months ago as part of the few shortlisted Mental Health specialist selected across the globe. I have also earned several CME points as part of an overall continuous training in Psychiatry including one I earned from an MOOC Course from Harvard some 5 years ago. I speak 5 Languages including English Language, Russian, Ukrainian, German and Yoruba (Mother Tongue). I live my patients and I try as much as possible to provide a professional help in all cases. I have consulted over 1,000 patients struggling with substance abuse in the past 2 years of my work here in Austria and I look forward to taking this globally through this platform so I can help a wider group of patients around the world.
