Svetoslava Bataklieva

From February 2012 to October 2013 I have worked as Psychiatry resident and specialized in University Hospital “Alexandrovska”, Clinic of Psychiatry, Sofia, Bulgaria. I have evaluated, diagnosed and treated patients with mental disorders. During my work I have been analyzing a patient's mental health status and providing the necessary treatment under supervision. I have collaborated with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses to discuss treatment plans and progress. I have also been doing Doctorate, ECT and cognitive functioning in patients with treatment resistant depression. I have interest in anxiety and depression. I had paused my specialization, doctorate and clinical work in the end of 2013 in order to pursue career interests in clinical research. I have been monitoring large number of Psychiatric trials with innovative medications. I am currently in the process of receiving certification in couple`s therapy and I have taken steps to complete my board certification in Psychiatry.
