Hi! I am Dr. Abhishek Khatri, a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist with a dual specialization in addiction psychiatry and child psychiatry. I completed my MD in Psychiatry from IHBAS, Delhi, followed by a DM in Addiction Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bengaluru—both esteemed institutions recognized for their excellence in mental health care. Additionally, I have further honed my expertise in child psychiatry through advanced studies at the prestigious IACAM Academy. My training also includes extensive work in ADHD and sexual disorders, areas I am particularly passionate about. I have had the privilege of gaining clinical experience at AIIMS, Delhi, and PGI Chandigarh, two of India’s top medical schools, alongside NIMHANS. My mission is to guide individuals through the complex terrain of their mental and neurological well-being with a holistic approach that goes beyond symptom management. By deeply understanding each person’s unique narrative and life experiences, I strive to address the root causes of their challenges. My expertise spans across all age groups, offering comprehensive care that integrates evidence-based practices with the latest advancements in neuropsychiatry. My commitment to staying at the forefront of innovative treatments is reflected in my training in interventional psychiatry, which included Non-invasive Brain Stimulation and Ketamine therapy at NIMHANS, ensuring that I provide the most cutting-edge care possible. I have had the privilege of conducting research on dementia and gambling disorder during my training, underscoring my commitment to making a positive impact in the field.
